On Thursday 19 May 2016, Councillor Lindsley Harvard was inaugurated as the Lord Mayor of Coventry for 2016 - 2017.
Having served on the Council for 14 years, for Earlsdon Ward (1996-2000) and for Longford Ward since 2006, he is immensely proud to become Coventry’s 65th Lord Mayor.
Lindsley grew up in Longford and was a former pupil of Aldermans Green School and also Foxford School.
Serving for the past year as Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Coventry has shown him how important the role of Lord Mayor is to organisations and people throughout the City and, through helping to promote growth and prosperity, to the City itself.
I look forward to further serving the people and City of Coventry diligently and proudly as its Lord Mayor.
