British royals stop Zara Phillips from cashing in on weddin

Buckingham Palace vetoed a lucrative deal with a celebrity magazine for exclusive photos of the wedding of Zara Phillips and England rugby star Mike Tindall.

The couple is due to tie the knot on July 30, and Hello! magazine had lined up a £500,000 ($800,000) wedding photo deal.

However the daughter of Princess Anne was told that the wedding should be a "private, family affair" and that she should not sell the photos to the media.

The bride-to-be was reportedly unhappy about the decision, the Daily Mail reported.
