Christina Aguilera & Blake Shelton React to 'The Voice' Contestant Christina Grimmie's Death

The violent death of Christina Grimmie has left her supporters in mourning.


Celebrities immediately took to social media after learning that the 22-year-old Season 6 finalist on "The Voice" was shot and killed Friday during a fan meet-and-greet.
"Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie's death. Our hearts go out to her family," wrote Adam Levine in a photo caption with Grimmie on his Facebook and Twitter accounts. Levine was Grimmie's coach on the NBC singing competition series in 2014.

The 22-year-old singer was shot by a gunman after her concert on Friday (June 10) in Orlando, Fla. and shortly after died due to complications from her injuries.

“So sad passing of @TheRealGrimmie. Beautiful member of #TheVoice family & true #Fighter. My heart goes out to her family, friends & fans. xo,” Aguilera wrote on her Twitter account.

“I’m stunned and disgusted and heartbroken that we lost that sweet little girl… Keeping @TheRealGrimmie family in my heart and mind,” Blake wrote on his account.
