As a rock guitarist and one of Britain's biggest musical talents, it would certainly prove to be an ambitious attempt to get Noel Gallagher on Strictly Come Dancing.
But the former Oasis star said he would have taken part - if he hadn't been too busy.
Reports today said the singer songwriter had been approached to take part in the next series of the BBC celebrity dance show.
'They knew from the off it was ambitious but they thought it might be something that tickled him.'
This isn't the first time Noel has been targeted by reality TV chiefs who want him on their show.
He was previously approached by Simon Cowell to be a judge on the X Factor as the programme's 'Alpha Male'.
Noel said last year: 'There was a long drawn-out saga of phonecalls going back and forward. When we finally spoke Simon said, in his own inimitable fashion, you know, "We're rebranding the show and we need an Alpha Male", and I was like, "OK, what does that mean?"
'He said, "Well we need someone to replace me". At first I didn't know what he was offering and I said, "Well what for, I don't understand?" He said, "For the whole show", and I was like, "No, no".'
