(England Twitter)-Royal couple – who received the titles Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the day of their marriage at London’s Westminster Abbey last Friday (29.04.11) - will take a trip to the west coast of America from July 8 to July 10 following their first official overseas visit to Canada from June 30 to July 8.
David and Victoria Beckham, who were among the guests at the royal couple’s wedding last Friday, are also believed to be involved in the visit.
The former England football captain and his popstar turned designer wife have lived in California for the last four years, while he plays for LA Galaxy.
The couple spent their first weekend as a married couple at a secret location in the UK, and opted to postpone their honeymoon until a later date", BBC News reports.
"They will begin their first joint official overseas trip by touring Canada from 30 June to 8 July, including visits to Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and the capital, Ottaw the report added.
With the queen – William’s 85-year-old grandmother - reportedly having told fellow members of the British royal family they must rally round as she celebrates 60 years on the throne, it is thought Buckingham Palace officials are hoping to capitalize on the success of Friday's nuptials, which were watched by an estimated two billion people worldwide.
A Palace source said: "Demand for William and Catherine is expected to go through the roof following the incredible reaction to their wedding.
